1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your STEEL MATE TP-90 Pro Motorcycle Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This system is designed to enhance riding safety by continuously monitoring your motorcycle's tire pressure and temperature, providing real-time data and alerts for abnormal conditions.
The TP-90 Pro features a waterproof digital LCD display, voltage detection, and two external sensors, making it suitable for two-wheeled motorcycles.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Display Unit Installation
- Choose a suitable location on your motorcycle's handlebar for the display unit. Ensure it does not obstruct your view or interfere with controls.
- Secure the display cradle to the handlebar using the provided mounting hardware.
- Insert the display unit into the cradle.
- Connect the display unit to a 12V power source on your motorcycle. Ensure proper wiring to avoid electrical issues.

3.2 Sensor Installation
The external sensors are pre-paired with the display unit. Install them on your tire valve stems as follows:
- Identify the front ('F') and rear ('R') sensors.
- Remove the original valve cap from the tire.
- Screw on one of the provided nuts onto the valve stem, but do not tighten it yet.
- Screw the corresponding sensor (F for front, R for rear) onto the valve stem until it is hand-tight.
- Use the spanner to tighten the nut against the sensor to secure it and prevent theft.
- Repeat for the other tire.

After installation, ride the motorcycle for a few blocks to allow the sensors to transmit data and synchronize with the display unit.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Normal Operation
During normal operation, the display will show the current tire pressure and temperature for both front and rear tires, alternating every 2 seconds. The display will typically show green indicators for normal conditions.
4.2 Alarm Conditions
The system provides visual and audible warnings for various abnormal tire conditions. When an alarm is triggered, the display will show a red indicator and emit an audible alert.
- Air Leakage: Indicates a rapid or slow loss of tire pressure.
- High Pressure: Tire pressure exceeds the preset upper limit.
- Low Pressure: Tire pressure falls below the preset lower limit.
- High Temperature: Tire temperature exceeds the preset upper limit.
- Sensor Low Battery: Indicates that a sensor's battery is low and requires replacement.
- Sensor Failure: Indicates a malfunction or loss of signal from a sensor.

4.3 Adjusting Settings
Use the 'SET' and 'Adjust' buttons on the display unit to configure parameters such as pressure units (PSI/Bar), temperature units (°C/°F), and alarm thresholds for high/low pressure and high temperature. Refer to the on-screen prompts for navigation through the settings menu.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Sensor Battery Replacement
When a 'Sensor Low Battery' alarm is triggered, replace the battery in the affected sensor. Use the provided sensor tool to carefully open the sensor casing, replace the old battery with a new CR1632 battery, and reassemble the sensor, ensuring the seal is intact for waterproofing.
5.2 Cleaning
Clean the display unit and sensors periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the components.
6. Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Readings: If readings appear inaccurate, verify tire pressure with a reliable manual gauge. Ensure sensors are securely tightened and batteries are not low. Temperature fluctuations can affect pressure readings; allow tires to warm up during riding for stable readings.
- False Alarms: Adjust high/low pressure and temperature thresholds to appropriate levels for your motorcycle and riding conditions. Extreme temperature changes can sometimes trigger temporary alarms.
- Display Not Showing Data: Ensure the display unit is properly powered and the sensors are installed correctly. Ride the motorcycle to activate sensor transmission. If the display remains dim, check power connections.
- Air Leakage Around Sensor: Ensure the sensor is screwed on tightly and the locking nut is properly secured against the sensor. Check the valve stem for any damage.
