4. Product Overview

- Solar Panel: Charges the internal battery using sunlight.
- Light Sensor: Detects ambient light levels for automatic day/night mode switching.

5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal battery using the provided USB cable and a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. This ensures optimal battery performance.
5.2 App Download and Account Registration
Search for the designated app (e.g., "UBox", "CloudEdge" or similar, refer to packaging for exact app name) in your mobile device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android) and download it. Register a new account and log in.

5.3 Camera Pairing with Wi-Fi
- Open the app and tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select "Battery Camera" or "Solar Camera" from the device list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- The app will generate a QR code. Position your phone's screen in front of the camera lens (approx. 15-20 cm away) until you hear a prompt sound from the camera, indicating successful scanning.
- Once connected, the camera's indicator light will turn solid blue, and you can name your camera in the app.
Note: This camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. 5GHz networks are not supported.
5.4 Mounting the Camera
- Choose a suitable outdoor location with good Wi-Fi signal and direct sunlight exposure for the solar panel.
- Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes on the wall.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with the provided screws.
- Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle for optimal viewing and solar charging. Ensure the solar panel is angled to receive maximum sunlight throughout the day.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Live View
Open the app and select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed. You can view real-time footage, take snapshots, record manually, and use the two-way audio feature.
6.2 Motion Detection and Recording
The camera is equipped with a PIR motion sensor. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically start recording and send a notification to your mobile device. You can adjust motion detection sensitivity and recording duration in the app settings.
6.3 Playback
Access recorded events through the app's "Playback" or "Event History" section. You can view footage stored on the TF card (if installed) or in the cloud (if subscribed).
6.4 Two-Way Audio
While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone.
6.5 Cloud Storage
For enhanced security and accessibility, consider subscribing to the cloud storage service offered through the app. This allows your video recordings to be securely stored off-site.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear vision and efficient solar charging. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Battery Health: While the solar panel provides continuous charging, ensure the camera receives adequate sunlight. If the camera is in a shaded area for extended periods, consider manually charging it via the USB port.
- Firmware Updates: Check the app regularly for firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
