4.4 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord to the AC inlet on the rear panel of the PSD300 and then to a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the power source matches the voltage requirements of the unit.

4.5 Audio Connections

• Line Out: Connect the RCA Line Out jacks on the rear panel to the input of your amplifier, mixer, or powered speakers.
• Microphone/Line In: For recording, connect microphones or line-level devices to the XLR/TRS combo jacks on the rear. Use the corresponding input selector switches to configure the input type (Mic/Line, Analog/Digital).

5.1 Basic CD Playback

1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
2. Place a CD (audio CD, CD-R, or CD-RW with audio) onto the tray with the label side up.
3. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray. The unit will read the disc.
4. Press the PLAY button to start playback.
5. Use the PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and SEARCH buttons for playback control.
6. Adjust the main volume using the VOLUME knob.

5.2 Key and Tempo Control

The PSD300 allows independent adjustment of musical key and playback tempo.

5.3 Recording to CD-R/CD-RW

The PSD300 can record audio from its inputs to a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc.

1. Insert a blank recordable CD (CD-R or CD-RW) into the CD tray.
2. Connect your audio source (microphone, line-in device) to the appropriate input jacks on the rear panel.
3. Select the correct input source using the input selector buttons/switches on the front or rear panel.
4. Adjust input levels to prevent clipping (distortion). Monitor levels on the display.
5. Press the REC button to arm the recording. The REC indicator will typically flash.
6. Press PLAY (or REC/PLAY) to begin recording.
