Controls and Display

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and display features of your alarm clock.

  • SNOOZE/LIGHT Button: Located on top. Press to activate snooze during an alarm or to temporarily illuminate the display.
  • AL.ON/OFF Switch: Located on the left side. Slides to turn the alarm function on or off.
  • LOCK/AL SET/DATE SET/TIME SET Switch: Located on the right side. Used to select the setting mode.
  • 12/24 Button: Adjusts time format between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour.
  • YEAR Button: Used to set the year.
  • MIN/DATE Button: Used to set minutes and date. Also switches temperature unit (°C/°F).
  • HOUR Button: Used to set hours.
  • MONTH Button: Used to set the month.
  • SENSOR ON/OFF Switch: Located on the back. Activates or deactivates the smart light sensor.
  • Battery Compartment: Located on the back for AAA batteries.

Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
  2. Insert 3 new AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Note: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Initial Settings

After battery installation, the clock will power on. You will need to set the time, date, and other preferences.

Setting the Time

  1. Slide the LOCK/AL SET/DATE SET/TIME SET switch to the TIME SET position. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the minutes.
  4. Press the 12/24 button to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour format.
  5. Once the time is set, slide the switch back to the LOCK position to save.

Setting the Date

  1. Slide the LOCK/AL SET/DATE SET/TIME SET switch to the DATE SET position. The year digits will flash.
  2. Press the YEAR button to adjust the year.
  3. Press the MONTH button to adjust the month.
  4. Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the date.
  5. Once the date is set, slide the switch back to the LOCK position to save.

Setting the Alarm

  1. Slide the LOCK/AL SET/DATE SET/TIME SET switch to the AL SET position. The alarm hour digits will flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the alarm minutes.
  4. Once the alarm time is set, slide the switch back to the LOCK position to save.
  5. To activate the alarm, slide the AL.ON/OFF switch to the AL.ON position. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
  6. To deactivate the alarm, slide the AL.ON/OFF switch to the AL.OFF position. The alarm icon will disappear.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock. The alarm will pause for approximately 5 minutes and then sound again. To turn off the alarm completely, slide the AL.ON/OFF switch to AL.OFF or let it ring for 60 seconds until it automatically stops.

Changing Temperature Units (°C/°F)

In LOCK mode, press the MIN/DATE button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature display.

Smart Light Sensor

The clock features a smart light sensor that automatically illuminates the display in dark environments.

  • To activate the smart light sensor, slide the SENSOR switch on the back to the ON position. The display will automatically light up in dim conditions and turn off in bright conditions.
  • To deactivate the smart light sensor, slide the SENSOR switch to the OFF position. The backlight will remain off unless manually activated by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
  • For complete darkness, ensure the SENSOR switch is OFF.

Maintenance

  • Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting
