1. Introduction

5. Setup & Installation

The VSRB1 rigging bar is designed for both vertical hanging and ground stacking configurations of Avante Vision Series LED panels.

5.1. General Overview

The VSRB1 features attachment points for connecting to the top or bottom of Avante VS Series LED panels. It includes mechanisms for secure locking and alignment.

5.2. Vertical Hanging Configuration

1. Assess Structure: Ensure the overhead truss or structure is capable of safely supporting the total weight of the VSRB1, all connected LED panels, and any associated cabling. Consult with a structural engineer if unsure.
2. Attach Rigging Bar: Securely attach the VSRB1 to the overhead structure using appropriate rigging hardware (e.g., shackles, clamps, motors) through the designated central attachment point on the rigging bar. Ensure all connections are tightened and safety-pinned.
3. Connect First Panel: Attach the top Avante VS Series LED panel to the underside of the VSRB1. Align the panel's top locking mechanisms with the corresponding slots on the rigging bar. Engage the locking pins or levers to secure the panel firmly.
4. Connect Subsequent Panels: For additional panels, attach them sequentially below the previously installed panel. Ensure each panel is securely locked to the one above it.
5. Verify Connections: Before lifting or operating, double-check all panel-to-panel and panel-to-rigging bar connections for security and proper engagement.

5.3. Ground Stacking Configuration

1. Prepare Base: Place the VSRB1 on a stable, level surface where the LED wall will be constructed. Ensure the surface can support the total weight of the stacked panels.
2. Attach First Panel: Connect the bottom Avante VS Series LED panel to the top side of the VSRB1. Align the panel's bottom locking mechanisms with the corresponding slots on the rigging bar. Engage the locking pins or levers to secure the panel firmly.
3. Stack Subsequent Panels: Carefully stack additional panels on top of the previously installed panel. Ensure each panel is securely locked to the one below it.
4. Stability: For taller stacks, consider using additional bracing or securing methods to prevent tipping, especially in public areas.

6. Operating Instructions

The VSRB1 is a passive rigging component. Its 'operation' primarily involves ensuring the secure and stable deployment of LED panels.

• Pre-Operation Check: Before powering on any connected LED panels or allowing public access, perform a thorough visual inspection of the entire rigged structure. Confirm all connections are secure, cables are managed, and there are no visible signs of stress or damage.

• Verify Panel Compatibility: Confirm that the LED panels are Avante VS Series (VS2, VS3, VS5) and are compatible with the VSRB1.
