3. Setup (Installation)

- Wire strippers

3.2 Installation Steps
- Disconnect Power: Ensure the lamp or appliance is unplugged from the wall outlet.
- Prepare the Cord: Determine the desired location for the switch on the lamp cord. Carefully cut one of the two wires within the cord at this location. Do not cut both wires.
- Open the Switch Housing: Use a small screwdriver to carefully pry open the two halves of the switch housing.
- Strip Wires: Strip approximately 6-8mm (1/4 inch) of insulation from the cut ends of the wire.
- Connect Wires: Insert the stripped wire ends into the screw terminals inside the switch. Ensure that each cut end connects to a separate terminal. Tighten the screws securely to hold the wires in place. The other uncut wire should pass through the channel provided in the switch housing without being cut or stripped.

4. Operating

- To turn the connected device ON, rotate the knob clockwise until you feel a click and the device powers on.
- To turn the connected device OFF, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until you feel a click and the device powers off.
