Setup
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the jack labeled with a handset icon on the side of the telephone base.
- Connect the Telephone Line: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack labeled with a telephone line icon on the back of the telephone base. Plug the other end into your wall telephone jack.
- Placement: Place the telephone on a flat, stable surface or mount it on a wall using the integrated wall-mount slots (if applicable).
Operating Instructions
Making a Call
- Lift the handset.
- Dial the desired telephone number using the keypad.
- Wait for the call to connect.
- To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle.
Receiving a Call
- When the telephone rings, lift the handset.
- To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle.
Using Caller ID
When an incoming call is received, the caller's number (and name, if available and subscribed to service) will be displayed on the LCD screen. This feature requires subscription to Caller ID service from your telephone service provider.
Accessing Call Memory (38 Slots)
- Press the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons (usually located near the LCD screen) to scroll through the stored incoming call numbers.
- To redial a number from the memory, select the desired number and lift the handset, then press "REDIAL" or wait for the phone to automatically dial.
- To delete a number from memory, select the number and press the "DEL" button.
Redial Function
To redial the last number called, lift the handset and press the "REDIAL" button.
Mute Function
During a call, press the "MUTE" button to temporarily silence your microphone. The other party will not hear you. Press "MUTE" again to resume speaking.
