5.3 Attaching Nozzles

Select the appropriate spray nozzle for your paint type and desired spray pattern. Attach it securely to the front end of the sprayer.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Initial Spray Test

Before spraying your project, perform a test spray on a piece of scrap material to check the spray pattern and consistency. Adjust paint thinning or nozzle as needed.

6.2 Spraying Technique

  1. Hold the sprayer approximately 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) from the surface, depending on the desired coverage and paint type.
  2. Maintain a consistent distance and speed for an even finish.
  3. Use smooth, overlapping strokes. Release the trigger at the end of each pass to avoid paint buildup.
  4. For best results, apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning after each use is crucial for maintaining the performance and longevity of your sprayer.

7.1 Quick Clean System

  1. After spraying, empty any remaining paint from the canister.
  2. Fill the canister with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints).
  3. Locate the "CLEAN / PAINT" switch on the sprayer.
  4. Switch the lever to the "CLEAN" position.
  5. Spray the cleaning solution through the gun until it runs clear. This flushes the internal components and nozzle.

  2. Remove the front end of the sprayer.
  3. Disassemble the nozzle and air cap components.
  4. Clean all disassembled parts thoroughly with the cleaning brush and appropriate cleaning solution.
  5. Rinse all parts with clean water (if using water-based cleaning solution) and allow them to dry completely before reassembly.
  6. Never immerse the main motor unit in liquid. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
