Setup and Installation
The Badabulle Deco Pop safety gate can be installed using two methods: screw fixation for a swing-open gate, or pressure fixation for a removable barrier. Choose the method that best suits your needs and the installation location.
1. Unpacking and Component Check
Carefully unpack all components and verify that all parts are present according to the parts list. Refer to the image below for an overview of the components.

2. Assembling the Gate Panels
- Determine the desired width of the gate (between 63 cm and 106 cm).
- Insert the wooden slats into the pre-drilled holes on the top and bottom rails. Ensure they are firmly seated.
- Adjust the number of slats to match your desired width.

3. Choosing Your Fixation Method
Option A: Screw Fixation (for swing-open gate)
- Position the gate in the desired opening. Mark the positions for the wall cups on both sides.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Secure the wall cups to the wall using the provided screws.
- Attach the gate to the wall cups. This method allows the gate to swing open like a door.

Option B: Pressure Fixation (for removable barrier)
- Extend the gate to fit snugly within the opening.
- Use the pressure mechanisms to secure the gate firmly against the walls. Ensure the gate is stable and cannot be pushed over.
- Note: With pressure fixation, the gate does not swing open. It must be lifted completely to pass through.

Operating the Safety Gate
Opening the Gate (Screw Fixation)
- To open the gate, locate the ergonomic handle.
- Press the release button or slide the latch mechanism with one hand.
- Swing the gate open in the desired direction.
- To close, simply swing the gate back until it latches securely. Always ensure it is properly locked.
Removing the Gate (Pressure Fixation)
- To remove the gate, firmly grasp the top rail.
- Lift the gate upwards to disengage the pressure mechanism from the wall.
- Carefully pull the gate away from the opening.
