Important Note: This foot set is not compatible with Singer 111W155 type walking foot machines.
3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install the zipper foot on your compatible industrial walking foot sewing machine:
- Power Off: Ensure the sewing machine is turned off and unplugged from the power source for safety.
- Raise Needle and Presser Foot: Use the handwheel to raise the needle to its highest position. Lift the presser foot lever to raise the existing presser foot.
- Remove Existing Foot: Loosen the screw that secures the current presser foot to the presser bar. Carefully remove the old foot.
- Select Zipper Foot: Choose either the right or left toe zipper foot depending on the side of the zipper or edge you intend to sew. The narrow toe allows stitching close to the raised element.
- Attach Zipper Foot: Position the selected zipper foot under the presser bar, aligning the hole on the foot with the screw hole on the presser bar. Insert the screw and tighten it securely, but do not overtighten.
- Verify Installation: Gently lower the presser foot lever to ensure the foot is stable and properly seated. Manually turn the handwheel a few times to confirm the needle clears the foot without obstruction.

4. Operating Instructions
Using the Right & Left Toe Zipper Foot allows for accurate and neat stitching when working with zippers or other bulky elements. Here are general operating guidelines:
- Fabric Placement: Place your fabric under the presser foot, ensuring the zipper or raised edge is positioned to the side of the narrow toe.
- Needle Position: Adjust your needle position if necessary to achieve the desired stitch line relative to the zipper teeth or edge.
- Stitching: Begin sewing slowly, guiding the fabric to maintain an even seam allowance. The walking foot mechanism will help feed multiple layers of fabric smoothly.
- Switching Feet: If you need to sew on the opposite side of the zipper, turn off the machine, unplug it, and replace the current zipper foot with the corresponding right or left toe foot.

5. Maintenance

- Storage: Store the feet in a dry, clean place when not in use to prevent rust or damage.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the feet for any signs of wear, bending, or damage. Damaged feet can affect stitch quality and potentially harm your machine.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues while using the zipper feet, consider the following:
