Setup

4. Pencil Type: This sharpener is ideal for graphite and colored pencils, including brands like Prismacolor Premiers, Derwent, Verithins, Faber-Castell, and Koh-I-Noor Progresso. It is not recommended for soft core pencils, as they may cause blade jams.
5. Even Tip: To ensure an even tip, insert the pencil horizontally and parallel with the sharpener. An off-center pencil core may result in an uneven tip.
