5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Speaker
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the speaker, typically protected by a rubber flap.
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, during charging. It will turn off or change color (e.g., blue or green) when fully charged.
- A full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours.
5.2 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (Ⓞ) for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (Ⓞ) again for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will typically flash rapidly.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Nakamichi Thrill" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
6.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
TWS allows you to connect two Nakamichi Thrill speakers for a true stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both Nakamichi Thrill speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the TWS button (often indicated by a chain link icon or "TWS"). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The primary speaker will automatically search for the second speaker.
- Once connected, both speakers will provide an audible confirmation. The primary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will flash, and the secondary speaker's will remain solid.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 6.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
- To disconnect TWS, press the TWS button on either speaker again.
6.3 Auxiliary Input
Use the auxiliary input for wired connections to devices without Bluetooth.
- Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm auxiliary audio cable to the AUX port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your device.
- The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
6.4 Basic Controls
- Volume Up: Press the + button.
- Volume Down: Press the - button.
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (often integrated with the power button or a dedicated button).
- Next Track: Press and hold the + button (or double-press, depending on model).
- Previous Track: Press and hold the - button (or double-press, depending on model).
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Disconnect the speaker from all power sources before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
