Setup

Unpacking and Assembly

Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Ensure all components are present: heater unit, hose & regulator assembly, and handle. Attach the handle securely to the top of the heater using the provided hardware.

Connecting to Propane Supply

  1. Ensure the heater's control knob is in the 'OFF' position.
  2. Connect the hose & regulator assembly to the propane tank. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection. Note that the propane tank connection is often left-hand threaded.
  3. Connect the other end of the hose to the heater's propane inlet.
  4. Slowly open the valve on the propane tank.

Power Options

This heater offers hybrid power functionality:

  • 20V MAX Battery: Insert a fully charged DEWALT 20V MAX Lithium Ion battery into the battery compartment. This powers the fan and igniter for cordless operation.
  • 120V AC Power: Alternatively, plug the heater into a standard 120V AC outlet using an appropriate extension cord. This powers the fan and igniter for corded operation.
