Setup Instructions
- Position the Base: Place the empty umbrella base in your desired location. Ensure the surface is flat and stable.
- Fill the Tanks: The base features four individual tanks designed to be filled with water or sand for stability.
- Open the caps on each of the four tanks.
- Fill each tank with sand or water. For maximum stability (approximately 353 lbs), fill with sand first, then top off with water. Stir the sand-water mixture with a rod to ensure full capacity and prevent air pockets.

Operating Instructions
- Engaging/Disengaging Wheels: The base is equipped with a crank mechanism to raise and lower the wheels for mobility.
- To engage the wheels and move the base, rotate the crank handle clockwise until the base lifts slightly and rests on its wheels.
- To disengage the wheels and secure the base in a stationary position, rotate the crank handle counter-clockwise until the base lowers and rests firmly on the ground.

- Moving the Base:
- Ensure the umbrella is closed and secured before attempting to move the base.
- Engage the wheels using the crank handle.
- The base features a pulley bracket for 360-degree rotation, allowing easy movement in any direction. Carefully push or pull the base to its new desired location.
- Once in position, disengage the wheels by rotating the crank handle counter-clockwise to lower the base onto its stationary pads.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the base periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the plastic.
- Winterization (if applicable): If you live in an area with freezing temperatures, and the tanks are filled with water, it is recommended to drain the water to prevent ice expansion and potential damage to the base. If filled with sand, ensure the caps are tightly sealed.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the base, wheels, and crank mechanism for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Tighten any loose bolts.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Base feels unstable. | Tanks not fully filled; uneven ground. | Ensure all four tanks are completely filled with sand and/or water. Relocate the base to a flat, level surface. |
| Difficulty moving the base. | Wheels not fully engaged; obstruction; heavy load. | Rotate the crank handle clockwise to fully engage the wheels. Check for debris under the wheels. Ensure the umbrella is closed. |
| Crank handle is stiff. | Dirt or debris in mechanism; lack of lubrication. | Clean the crank mechanism. Apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary. |
| Water leakage from tanks. | Caps not securely closed; tank damage. | Ensure all tank caps are tightened. Inspect tanks for cracks; if damaged, contact customer support. |
