1. Introduction

• Power LED: Indicates the unit is powered on.
• 220V-240V Output Sockets: Two universal sockets for devices requiring 220V-240V.
• 110V-120V Output Sockets: Two US-standard sockets for devices requiring 110V-120V.
• On/Off Switch with Breaker: Controls power to the unit and acts as a primary circuit breaker.

3. Setup Instructions

1. Select Input Voltage: Before connecting the power cord, locate the Input Voltage Selector switch on the back of the converter. Set this switch to match the voltage of your wall outlet (e.g., 110V-120V if you are in North America, or 220V-240V if you are in Europe or other regions with higher voltage).

   WARNING: Failure to select the correct input voltage can cause severe damage to the converter and connected appliances.

2. Connect Power Cord: Plug the provided power cord into the AC Input Port on the back of the converter.
3. Connect to Wall Outlet: Plug the other end of the power cord into your wall outlet.

4. Power On: Flip the On/Off switch on the front of the converter to the "ON" position. The Power LED should illuminate.
5. Connect Appliance: Plug your appliance into the appropriate output socket (110V-120V or 220V-240V) on the converter. Ensure the appliance's power requirement does not exceed the converter's rated wattage (1500W).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Step-Up Conversion (110V-120V to 220V-240V)

To convert 110V-120V input to 220V-240V output:

1. Ensure the Input Voltage Selector on the back of the unit is set to "110V-120V".
2. Plug the converter into a 110V-120V wall outlet.
3. Turn on the converter using the front On/Off switch.
4. Plug your 220V-240V appliance into one of the 220V-240V Output Sockets.

4.2. Step-Down Conversion (220V-240V to 110V-120V)

To convert 220V-240V input to 110V-120V output:

1. Ensure the Input Voltage Selector on the back of the unit is set to "220V-240V".
2. Plug the converter into a 220V-240V wall outlet. (Note: The included power cord is US standard. An adapter or compatible local power cord may be required for 220V-240V regions.)
3. Turn on the converter using the front On/Off switch.
4. Plug your 110V-120V appliance into one of the 110V-120V Output Sockets.

5. Power Capacity Guidelines

It is crucial to match the power requirements of your appliance with the converter's capacity. The LVYUAN VTUS-1500 has a maximum capacity of 1500 Watts. Always ensure the appliance's wattage is less than the converter's rated power.

Important Notes:

• The transformer converts voltage, not frequency (Hz). If your appliance is not compatible with 50/60Hz, it may affect usage.
• Some appliances, such as heating appliances, power tools, motors, laser printers, and coffee makers, require 2-4 times more watts at startup than their printed rated wattage.
• Appliances with motors may require from 3 to 7 times the listed wattage during startup. The startup load determines if a transformer can power it.

6. Safety and Protection Features

The LVYUAN VTUS-1500 is designed with multiple safety features to protect both the converter and your connected devices.

• Resettable Circuit Breakers: The unit includes resettable circuit breakers for both 110V-120V and 220V-240V outputs. In case of an overload or overcurrent, the breaker will trip (pop up) to protect the circuit. To restore power, reduce the load and press the FUSE BUTTON back in.
