Thank you for choosing the Refasy Electronic ATM Piggy Bank. This device is designed to help children develop good saving habits by providing a fun and secure way to store their money. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Refasy Electronic ATM Piggy Bank requires 3 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

2. Initial Password

The default password for your piggy bank is 0000.

Operating Instructions

1. Depositing Money

  • Paper Money: Insert paper money into the slot on top of the unit. The bank will automatically roll the money inside. (Note: Very old or soft paper money may not feed properly).
  • Coins: Drop coins into the coin slot located on the top surface of the bank.

2. Withdrawing Money

  1. Enter your 4-digit password using the keypad. The green light will turn on if the password is correct.
  2. Turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
  3. Retrieve your money.
  4. Close the door to secure the bank.

3. Changing the Password

  1. With the door open, press and hold the '*' button. The red light will flash.
  2. While holding '*', enter your new 4-digit password.
  3. Press the '#' button to confirm. The red light will stop flashing, indicating the password has been successfully changed.
  4. Release the '*' button and close the door.

4. Sound Modes

The bank offers two sound modes: Beeps Sound and Voice Mode. The mode selection button is located inside the door of the bank. Toggle the switch to select your preferred mode.

  • Beeps Sound: Enter 4 digits in a row.
  • Voice Mode: Each input digit will have a voice prompt "Password Please". Please enter a number after each prompt.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  • Battery Replacement: If the bank's functions become sluggish or the sounds are distorted, replace the batteries as described in the Setup section.
  • Storage: Store the bank in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

  • Forgot Password: If the password is forgotten, remove the batteries for a few minutes and then reinsert them. This will reset the password to the default (0000).
  • Paper Money Not Feeding: Ensure the paper money is not too old, soft, or crumpled. Smooth out any wrinkles before inserting.
  • Bank Not Opening: Double-check that the correct 4-digit password is entered and the knob is turned clockwise. Ensure batteries have sufficient power.
