3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

The MOOER E7 requires a 9V DC power supply with a center-negative polarity. Ensure the power supply meets these specifications to prevent damage to the unit.

  • Connect the 9V DC power adapter to the 'DC 9V' input jack on the top of the pedal.
  • Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.

3.2 Audio Connections

Connect your guitar and amplifier (or other audio equipment) to the E7 pedal using standard 6.35mm (1/4 inch) instrument cables.

  • Connect your guitar to the input jack on the right side of the pedal.
  • Connect the output jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier or other effects pedals.

4. Operation

4.1 Powering On

Once connected to power and your audio chain, the pedal will automatically power on. The LED indicators will illuminate, showing the current synth tone selection.

4.2 Selecting Synth Tones

The E7 offers 7 distinct synth tones. To cycle through these tones:

  • Press the footswitch once to activate the pedal.
  • Press the footswitch again to cycle to the next synth tone. The corresponding LED indicator (1-7) will light up.

Use the dedicated knobs to fine-tune the characteristics of each synth tone:

  • Attack: Turn clockwise for a slower, softer synth attack; counter-clockwise for a faster, more immediate attack.
  • Speed: Adjusts the tempo of the arpeggiator.
  • High Cut: Reduces high frequencies, creating a warmer or darker tone.
  • Low Cut: Reduces low frequencies, making the tone brighter or thinner.
  • Mix: Blends the original dry guitar signal with the processed synth effect. Turn fully clockwise for 100% wet signal, fully counter-clockwise for 100% dry signal.

4.4 Using the Arpeggiator

Each synth tone on the E7 features an independent arpeggiator. The arpeggiator can be activated or deactivated for each tone.
