4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the microwave oven from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any protective film on the oven surfaces. Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged.

4.2 Placement

Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it. Ensure adequate ventilation around the oven. Maintain a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) clearance at the rear, 20 cm (8 inches) at the top, and 5 cm (2 inches) on both sides. The front of the oven should be at least 30 cm (12 inches) from the edge of the counter to prevent accidental tipping.

4.3 Electrical Connection

Plug the oven into a properly grounded 120 Volt, 60 Hz AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter. Ensure the electrical circuit is dedicated to the microwave oven to prevent overloading.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Clock

  1. Press the Reloj (Clock) button.
  2. Use the number pad to enter the current time (e.g., 12:30).
  3. Press the Reloj (Clock) button again to confirm.

5.2 Basic Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe dish and put it in the oven. Close the door.
  2. Press the Tiempo de Cocción (Cooking Time) button.
  3. Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking time.
  4. To adjust power, press the Potencia (Power) button repeatedly to cycle through power levels (e.g., P100 for 100%, P80 for 80%, etc.). If not pressed, the oven defaults to 100% power.
  5. Press Inicio (Start) to begin cooking.

5.3 Express Cooking

For quick cooking at 100% power:

  • Press the +30 seg. (+30 seconds) button to start cooking for 30 seconds. Each subsequent press adds 30 seconds.
  • Alternatively, press any number button (1-6) for instant cooking for that many minutes at 100% power (e.g., press '1' for 1 minute).

5.4 Defrosting

The oven offers defrosting by weight or by time.

Defrost by Weight (Descongelado)

  1. Place the frozen food in the oven.
  2. Press the Descongelado (Defrost) button.
  3. Press the Descongelado (Defrost) button repeatedly to select food type (Carne/Meat, Pollo/Chicken, Pescado/Fish).
  4. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the food.
  5. Press Inicio (Start).

Defrost by Time (Descong. por Tiempo)

  1. Place the frozen food in the oven.
  2. Press the Descong. por Tiempo (Defrost by Time) button.
  3. Use the number pad to enter the desired defrosting time.
  4. Press Inicio (Start).

5.5 Inverter Technology

This microwave oven utilizes Inverter technology, which provides a continuous stream of cooking power at every setting. Unlike traditional microwaves that cycle power on and off, Inverter technology delivers consistent heat, resulting in more evenly cooked food, better texture, and more efficient defrosting without overcooking edges.
