3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the tuner from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.
3.2 Connections
Before making any connections, ensure the unit and all connected components are powered off and unplugged from the AC outlet.
- FM Antenna Connection: Connect an external FM antenna to the FM ANTENNA input terminal. For optimal FM reception, a proper outdoor antenna is recommended.
- AM Antenna Connection: Connect the supplied AM loop antenna to the AM ANTENNA input terminals. Position the loop antenna away from the main unit and other electronic devices for best reception.
- Audio Output Connection: Connect the AUDIO OUT terminals of the T-425AT to an available audio input (e.g., "Tuner" or "Aux") on your amplifier or receiver using RCA audio cables.
- AC Power Connection: After all other connections are made, plug the unit's power cord into a suitable AC outlet.
- AC Outlets (Switched): The unit features 3 switched AC outlets. You can connect other audio components to these outlets. Their power will turn ON/OFF in conjunction with the T-425AT's power switch. Ensure the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the specified limit.
