Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your product.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The HITO Shower Clock requires one CR2032 battery. A battery is included with the unit.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
2. Use a coin to twist the battery cover counter-clockwise to open it.
3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Replace the battery cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

2. Initial Time and Date Setting

After installing the battery, the clock will power on. You may need to set the current time and date.

1. Press the 'MODE' button to switch to Clock mode if not already there.
2. Press and hold the 'SET' button until the display flashes, indicating setting mode.
3. Use the numeric keys (0-9) to enter the current time (e.g., '1230' for 12:30).
4. Press 'SET' to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., date, year, 12/24H format, C/F temperature unit).
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until all settings are configured.
6. Press 'SET' one last time or wait for a few seconds for the settings to save automatically.

Operating Instructions

1. Switching Between Clock and Timer Modes

Press the 'MODE' button to toggle between the Clock display and the Timer display.

2. Setting the Countdown Timer

In Timer mode, you can set a countdown duration up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.

1. Ensure the clock is in Timer mode (press 'MODE' if necessary).
2. Use the numeric keys (0-9) to enter the desired countdown time. The input format is HHMMSS (Hours, Minutes, Seconds). For example, to set 9 hours, enter '090000'. To set 30 minutes, enter '003000'.
3. Press the 'START/STOP' button to begin the countdown.
4. To pause the timer, press 'START/STOP' again. Press it once more to resume.
5. When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound.

3. Clearing the Timer

To clear the set timer or stop the alarm:

• While the timer is paused or counting down, press the 'CLEAR' button to reset it to zero.
• When the alarm sounds, press any button to silence it.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

It is recommended to replace the CR2032 battery every 2-3 months to ensure optimal performance. Follow the battery installation steps in the 'Setup' section.

2. Cleaning

To clean the unit, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

3. Water Resistance Precautions

The HITO Shower Clock is IPX7 splash-proof, meaning it can withstand splashes and brief exposure to water. However, it is not designed to be submerged. Avoid placing it directly under running water or submerging it in a bath or sink.
