4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in Lithium Ion battery. Use the provided USB charging cable to connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

  • Connect the small end of the USB cable to the camera's charging port.
  • Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power source.
  • The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

4.2 Inserting a Memory Card

The camera requires a TF (MicroSD) memory card (up to 32GB, not included) to save photos and videos.

  • Locate the memory card slot on the side of the camera.
  • Gently insert the TF card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  • To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on, press and hold the Power Button until the screen illuminates.
  • To turn off, press and hold the Power Button again until the screen shuts down.

5.2 Taking Photos

  • Ensure the camera is in photo mode (indicated by an icon on the screen). If not, press the Photo/Video Button to switch.
  • Frame your shot using the display screen.
  • Press the Photo/Video Button once to take a picture.

5.3 Recording Videos

  • Press the Photo/Video Button to switch to video recording mode (indicated by a video camera icon).
  • Press the Photo/Video Button once to start recording. A red dot or timer will appear on the screen.
  • Press the Photo/Video Button again to stop recording.

5.4 Digital Zoom

  • While in photo or video mode, press the Up button to zoom in.
