Goplus 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill Instruction Manual

Model: SH37590

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Goplus 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective setup, operation, and maintenance of your treadmill. Please read it thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

This innovative treadmill offers two modes of operation: a walking pad for under-desk use and a traditional running treadmill with a raised handrail. Its compact, foldable design and quiet motor make it suitable for home and office environments.

Important Safety Information

  • Always place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface.
  • Ensure adequate clear space around the treadmill during operation.
  • Keep children and pets away from the treadmill during use.
  • Always attach the safety key clip to your clothing before starting the treadmill. The safety key is designed to stop the treadmill immediately in an emergency.
  • Do not operate the treadmill if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
  • Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program.
  • Wear appropriate athletic footwear during use.
  • Do not attempt to lubricate the belt while the treadmill is in operation.
  • Ensure the power cord is not a tripping hazard.

Setup and Assembly

The Goplus 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill is designed for installation-free setup, meaning it is ready to use almost immediately out of the box. However, some initial steps are required for safe operation.

Unfolding the Treadmill

  1. Carefully remove the treadmill from its packaging.
  2. Place the treadmill on a level surface.
  3. To use in running mode, gently lift the handrail until it locks into the upright position. Ensure it is securely locked before use.
  4. To use in walking mode, ensure the handrail is folded down.

Connecting Power

  1. Locate the power socket on the treadmill.
  2. Plug the power cord into the treadmill and then into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Turn on the main power switch, usually located near the power cord connection. The LED display should illuminate.

Initial Lubrication

It is recommended to check and apply lubricant to the running belt before first use to ensure smooth operation and prolong the life of the treadmill. Refer to the Maintenance section for detailed lubrication instructions.

Operating Instructions

The Goplus 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill offers versatile exercise options with its dual modes and convenient controls.

Modes of Operation

  • Walking Mode (Under Desk): With the handrail folded down, the treadmill operates as a walking pad. The speed range in this mode is typically 1-4 km/h (approximately 0.6-2.5 MPH). This mode is ideal for light activity while working or engaging in other tasks.
  • Running Mode: When the handrail is raised and securely locked, the treadmill functions as a traditional running machine. The speed range extends up to 8 MPH (approximately 12.8 km/h).

Using the Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to start, stop, and adjust the speed of the treadmill. Ensure the safety key is in place before starting.

  • Press the Start button to begin.
  • Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease speed.
  • Press the Stop button to gradually slow down and stop the treadmill.

Safety Key

The safety key is a critical safety feature. Attach the clip to your clothing. If the safety key is dislodged from its slot, the treadmill will stop immediately. This is an emergency stop function.

LED Display

The integrated LED display shows real-time workout data, including:

  • Time elapsed
  • Current speed
  • Distance covered
  • Calories burned

Bluetooth Speaker and Phone Holder

Connect your mobile device via Bluetooth to the treadmill's integrated speaker to enjoy music during your workout. The phone holder on the handrail provides a convenient place for your device.

Smart App Control

The treadmill can be connected to a smart app (e.g., Gymax) on your phone for enhanced control and tracking. Download the app, connect via Bluetooth, and follow the in-app instructions to monitor your progress and customize workouts.

Proper Shutdown Procedure

To safely end your workout, gradually decrease the speed using the remote control until the treadmill comes to a slow stop. Step off the treadmill once it has completely stopped. Avoid abruptly powering off the machine at high speeds, as this can cause a sudden stop and potential injury.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Goplus treadmill.

Cleaning

  • Wipe down the treadmill surfaces with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Keep the area around the treadmill clean and free of debris.

Running Belt Lubrication

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Two bottles of lubricant are included with your treadmill.

  1. Turn off and unplug the treadmill before lubricating.
  2. Carefully lift the edge of the running belt on one side.
  3. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant in a Z-pattern directly onto the deck beneath the belt.
  4. Repeat on the other side.
  5. Plug in the treadmill and run it at a low speed (e.g., 1-2 km/h) for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant evenly.
  6. Lubricate every 3-6 months, or after approximately 100 hours of use, depending on usage frequency.

Running Belt Adjustment and Alignment

Over time, the running belt may become loose or off-center. This can be adjusted using the included Allen wrench.

  • To tighten the belt: Turn both rear roller adjustment bolts clockwise in small increments (e.g., 1/4 turn) until the belt tension is appropriate.
  • To center the belt: If the belt drifts to the left, turn the left rear roller adjustment bolt clockwise in small increments. If it drifts to the right, turn the right rear roller adjustment bolt clockwise. Run the treadmill at a low speed and observe the belt's movement, making small adjustments until it runs centrally.

Note: Excessive tightening can damage the motor and belt. Consult online video tutorials for visual guidance if unsure.
