5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

5.2 Threading the Machine

Proper threading is crucial for correct stitching.

1. Ensure the power switch (4) is in the OFF position.
2. Lift the fastening plate (11) using the safety lock lever (5).
3. Place a bobbin onto the bobbin pin. If using a large spool, use the included spindle.
4. Guide the thread through the thread pass-through plates (1).
5. Pass the thread through the thread tension controller (2).
6. Thread the needle (8) from front to back using the needle threader.
7. Pull approximately 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) of thread through the needle eye.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Preparing to Sew

1. Ensure the machine is threaded correctly (refer to Section 5.2).
2. Lift the fastening plate (11) using the safety lock lever (5).
3. Place the fabric you wish to sew under the fastening plate.
4. Lower the fastening plate onto the fabric.

6.2 Starting to Sew

1. Hold the fabric gently with one hand.
2. Slide the power switch (4) to the ON position to start sewing. The machine will begin stitching automatically.
3. Guide the fabric slowly and steadily as the machine stitches. Do not pull the fabric forcefully.

6.3 Finishing a Stitch

1. Once you have completed your seam, slide the power switch (4) to the OFF position.
2. Lift the fastening plate (11).
3. Carefully pull the fabric away from the machine, leaving a few inches of thread.
4. Cut the thread and tie a knot at the end of the seam to secure the stitches.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the machine. Remove any lint or loose threads from the needle area and fastening plate using a small brush or tweezers.
• Needle Replacement: If the needle becomes bent, dull, or breaks, replace it immediately. Loosen the needle screw (7), remove the old needle, insert a new needle with the flat side facing away from you, and tighten the screw securely.
