Assembly Instructions

- Prepare the Base: Ensure your chosen umbrella base is properly weighted with sand or water according to its specific instructions. Place the base in the desired location on a flat, stable surface.
- Attach the Main Pole: Securely attach the main pole assembly to the base connector using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened.
- Mount the Canopy: Carefully lift the umbrella canopy and slide it onto the top of the main pole. Align the locking mechanisms and secure the canopy in place. This step may require two people due to the size and weight of the canopy.
- Final Checks: Verify that all connections are tight and the umbrella is stable before proceeding to operation.

Operating Instructions
Your PURPLE LEAF cantilever umbrella features an intuitive crank system for easy operation.
Opening the Umbrella:
- Release any securing straps around the folded canopy.
- Locate the main crank handle on the side of the pole. Turn the crank clockwise to slowly extend the canopy. Ensure the fabric does not snag on any part of the frame.
- Continue cranking until the canopy is fully open and taut.

Tilting and Rotating the Canopy:
The umbrella offers 6 height and angle adjustments and 360-degree rotation for optimal shade positioning.
- Tilting: Use the tilt mechanism (often a separate handle or button) to adjust the angle of the canopy. This allows you to block sun from various angles throughout the day.
- Rotation: The entire canopy can be rotated 360 degrees around the main pole. This feature enables you to easily reposition the shade without moving the heavy base.
Closing the Umbrella:
- If tilted, return the canopy to its upright position.
- Turn the main crank handle counter-clockwise to retract the canopy.
- Once fully closed, secure the canopy with the attached straps to keep it compact and prevent wind damage.
