1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the IKOHS ORH2500 Oil Heater. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your new appliance. Please read all instructions carefully before operating the heater and retain this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where water is present.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • The IKOHS ORH2500 is equipped with a dual safety system that includes tip-over protection and overheat protection, which automatically shut off the unit in case of accidental tipping or excessive temperature.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

  2. Wheel Assembly (if required): If the castor wheels are not pre-assembled, attach them according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly sheet (if applicable). Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects to allow for proper air circulation and prevent fire hazards.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a grounded 220-240V, 50-60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions

To operate your IKOHS ORH2500 Oil Heater:

  1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel. The digital display will illuminate, and the heater will begin to warm up.
  2. Set Temperature: Use the MODE button to adjust the desired temperature. Pressing MODE will cycle through temperature settings or allow adjustment using the '+' and '-' indicators (if present on the MODE button).
  3. Select Mode (if applicable): If your heater has multiple modes (e.g., High, Medium, Low), press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through them.
  4. ECO Mode: Press the ECO button to activate the energy-saving mode. In this mode, the heater will automatically adjust its power consumption to maintain the set temperature efficiently.
  5. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the heater. The display will turn off, and the heater will cool down.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
  • No Internal Maintenance: The oil in this heater is permanently sealed and never needs refilling. Do not attempt to open the heater or perform any internal maintenance.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
