Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Blanket: Carefully remove the heated blanket from its packaging.
  2. Inspect for Damage: Before first use, inspect the blanket and control unit for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Connect the Controller: Locate the connector on the blanket and the corresponding plug on the control unit cord. Ensure a firm and secure connection.
  4. Position the Blanket: Place the blanket on your bed, sofa, or desired area. Ensure it lies flat and is not folded or bunched.
  5. Plug into Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible. The 10-foot power cord provides flexibility in placement.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Heat Settings

The control unit allows you to easily manage the blanket's heat settings.

  • To Turn On: Press the power button on the controller. The blanket will start at the lowest heat setting.
  • Adjust Heat: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the 3 heat settings: Low (L), Medium (M), and High (H). The temperature range is approximately 95°F to 113°F.
  • To Turn Off: Continue pressing the power button until the indicator light turns off, or simply unplug the blanket from the wall outlet.

Automatic Shut-Off

For your safety and energy conservation, the heated blanket will automatically turn off after 4 hours of continuous use. To resume heating, simply turn the blanket back on using the controller.

Using as a Regular Blanket

The heated blanket can also be used as a regular throw blanket by detaching the controller cord from the blanket.

Care and Maintenance

Washing Instructions

The Tefici Electric Heated Blanket Throw is machine washable for easy care.

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  2. Detach Controller: Carefully detach the control unit cord from the blanket. Ensure the connection is fully separated.
  3. Machine Wash: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Do not bleach or iron.
  4. Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the controller and plugging it back into an electrical outlet.
  5. Reconnection: Once completely dry, first connect the controller cord securely to the blanket, then plug the power cord into the electrical outlet for use.

Storage

When storing, ensure the blanket is clean and completely dry. Fold it neatly and store in a cool, dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top of the blanket, as this may damage the internal wiring.

Troubleshooting
