3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Initial Preparation

• Remove Protective Films: Peel off the blue protective film from both the front dash cam lens and the rear camera lens to ensure clear video quality. Failure to do so may result in a blue tint in recordings.
• MicroSD Card: A 32GB SanDisk Class 10 MicroSD card is included. Format the card upon first use and reformat it monthly for optimal performance. The device supports up to 128GB cards.
• Power Source: Use the included car charger for optimal performance.

3.2 Mounting the Dash Cam

The mirror dash cam attaches to your existing rearview mirror using the provided straps. Ensure a secure fit to prevent vibration during driving.

3.3 Rear Camera Installation

The 32.8ft rear camera connecting cable is designed to fit various vehicle types, including SUVs, pickups, campers, vans, sedans, and minivans. Choose between installing the camera inside or outside your vehicle using the appropriate mount bracket.

• Wiring: Connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reverse light power source. This enables the automatic display of the rear camera view with parking guidelines when reversing.
• Cable Routing: Utilize the provided trim tool to neatly tuck cables into your vehicle's trim for a clean installation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Modes

The 12-inch IPS full touch screen allows for various display modes:

• Dual Lens Display: Observe both front and rear camera views simultaneously.
• Switching Views: Easily switch between front view, rear view, or split-screen display by touching or swiping the screen.
• Display Off: The display can be turned off while recording continues in the background.

4.2 Recording Functions

• Loop Recording: Ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
• G-Sensor: Automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions and locks the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
• Parking Monitoring: Provides 24/7 surveillance when the vehicle is parked. This feature requires a separate hardwire kit (B08GQXF32D) to connect to your car battery for continuous power.

4.3 Navigation and Assist

• GPS: The device supports GPS functionality for tracking speed and location. A GPS antenna is not included and must be purchased separately if this function is desired.
• Parking Guide Lines: Adjustable parking guide lines assist with safe reversing into parking spaces.

• Blue Tint in Video: If your recordings have a blue tint, ensure that all protective films have been removed from both the front and rear camera lenses.
• Rearview Image Flip: If you need to flip the rearview image for upside-down rear camera installation, contact customer support for the appropriate firmware.
• Parking Monitoring Issues: Ensure the customized hardwire kit (B08GQXF32D, not included) is correctly installed and connected to your car battery for continuous power to enable parking monitoring.
• Power Issues: Always use the included car charger to ensure stable power supply.
