2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Physical Installation
- Power Off: Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off before installation.
- Screw In: Carefully screw the ERIA BR30 smart bulb into a standard E26 socket.
- Power On: Restore power to the light fixture. The bulb should light up.

2.2 Pairing with a ZigBee Hub
The ERIA BR30 smart bulb requires a ZigBee compatible hub for smart control. Compatible hubs include AduroSmart ERIA, Philips Hue*, SmartThings, Home Assistant, Hubitat, and certain Amazon Echo devices (Echo Plus, Echo Studio, Echo 4th Gen, Echo Show 10 (2nd Gen and newer), Echo Hub, eero 6 & 6+, eero Pro 6 & Pro 6E, eero PoE 6 & PoE Gateway, and eero Max 7).
*Note: When used with Philips Hue, this bulb is not compatible with Apple HomeKit, Hue Entertainment, or Hue Secure.
- Activate Pairing Mode: Follow the instructions for your specific ZigBee hub to put it into pairing mode.
- Discover Device: The hub will search for new ZigBee devices. The ERIA bulb should be discovered automatically.
- Confirm Pairing: Once discovered, confirm the pairing within your hub's application.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 App Control
Once paired with your ZigBee hub, you can control the ERIA smart bulb using the corresponding mobile application (e.g., ERIA App, Philips Hue App, SmartThings App). The app allows you to:
- Change Colors: Select from 16 million colors to match your mood or decor.
- Adjust White Tones: Choose between warm white (2000K) for relaxation and cool white (6000K) for focus.
- Dim/Brighten: Precisely adjust the brightness level.
- Create Scenes: Save your favorite lighting configurations for quick access.
- Set Schedules: Automate your lighting to turn on/off or change colors at specific times.

3.2 Voice Control
For voice control, ensure your ERIA smart bulb is paired with a compatible ZigBee hub that is linked to your voice assistant (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant). You can then use voice commands such as:

- "Hey Google, change the light to warm white."
4. Maintenance
The ERIA BR30 smart bulb is designed for long-lasting performance with an average life of 25,000 hours. To ensure optimal operation:
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the bulb with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners.
- Environment: This bulb is suitable for indoor use and damp locations. Avoid direct exposure to water or extreme temperatures outside its operating range.
- Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the bulb to strong impacts.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Bulb Not Pairing
- Check Hub: Ensure your ZigBee hub is powered on and in pairing mode.
- Proximity: Make sure the bulb is within range of your ZigBee hub.
- Factory Reset: If the bulb fails to pair, perform a factory reset. To do this, turn the light switch off and on five times in quick succession. The bulb should flash to indicate a successful reset, then attempt pairing again.
- Compatibility: Verify that your hub is compatible with ZigBee 3.0 devices.
5.2 Inconsistent Color or Brightness
- App/Hub Glitches: Some users report occasional software glitches with certain apps or hubs. Try restarting the app or your hub.
- Re-select Color: If colors appear incorrect, re-select the desired color or white temperature in the app.
- Power Cycle: Turn the light switch off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
