Important Safety Information

Setup
- Unpack the Diffuser: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the Diffuser: Position the diffuser on a dry, level, non-metallic surface. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Remove the Outer Cover: Gently twist and lift the outer red cover from the base.
- Remove the Inner Lid: Lift off the inner white lid to expose the water reservoir.
- Fill the Water Reservoir: Pour clean tap water into the reservoir up to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill.

- Add Essential Oils: Add 5-7 drops of your preferred HoMedics essential oil directly into the water. You may adjust the amount of oil to your personal preference.
- Replace Lids: Place the inner white lid back onto the reservoir, ensuring it is properly seated. Then, replace the outer red cover, aligning it correctly.
- Connect Power: Plug the AC adapter into the power port on the back of the diffuser, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
The diffuser features two control buttons on its base: Power and Light.

- Powering On/Off:
- Press the POWER button once for continuous mist. The diffuser will run for up to 6 hours.
- Press the POWER button a second time for intermittent mist (30 seconds on, 30 seconds off). The diffuser will run for up to 12 hours.
- Press the POWER button a third time to turn the diffuser off.
- Controlling the Light:
- Press the LIGHT button once to turn on the color-changing light.
- Press the LIGHT button a second time to pause the light on its current color.
- Press the LIGHT button a third time to turn the light off.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning helps ensure optimal performance and extends the life of your diffuser.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Drain any remaining water from the reservoir.
- Wipe the reservoir and covers with a clean, damp, soft cloth.
- Weekly Cleaning (for optimal performance):
- Unplug the unit and drain the water.
- Pour a small amount of white vinegar (about 1 teaspoon) into the water reservoir.
- Let it soak for 5-10 minutes to loosen mineral buildup.
- Gently wipe the inside of the reservoir and the ultrasonic membrane with a soft brush (like a cotton swab) to remove any residue.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water, being careful not to get water into the air outlet.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Storage: If not using the diffuser for an extended period, clean it thoroughly and store it in a cool, dry place.
