2. Product Overview

2.1 Control Panel

The control panel includes a program selector knob, buttons for various options (e.g., delayed start, prewash, rinse+), and LED indicators for cycle status.
2.2 Components
- Detergent Dispenser: Located on the top left, with three compartments for prewash, main wash, and fabric softener.
- Drum: Stainless steel drum with a volume of 41 liters.
- Door (Porthole): Front-loading door with hinges on the left.
- Drain Pump Filter: Located at the bottom front, behind a small access panel.
3. Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your washing machine.
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective film.
- Locate and remove the transport bolts from the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transit and must be removed before operation. Keep them for future transport.
3.2 Location Requirements
- Place the washing machine on a firm, level floor. Uneven surfaces can cause vibration and noise.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
3.3 Water Connection
- Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4 inch thread.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3.4 Drainage Connection
- The drain hose can be placed into a standpipe or hooked over the edge of a sink.
- Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or obstructed. The end of the hose should be between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor.
3.5 Electrical Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications of your appliance.
3.6 Leveling the Appliance
- Adjust the adjustable feet at the bottom of the machine until it is perfectly level.
- Use a spirit level to verify.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective and safe operation of your washing machine.
4.1 Loading Laundry
- Open the washing machine door.
- Load laundry into the drum, ensuring not to overload. Leave enough space for clothes to tumble freely.
- Close the door firmly.

4.2 Adding Detergent and Softener
- Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer.
- Add detergent to the main wash compartment (II).
- If using prewash, add detergent to the prewash compartment (I).
- Add fabric softener to the softener compartment (flower symbol). Do not exceed the 'MAX' line.
- Push the dispenser drawer back in gently.
4.3 Selecting a Program
Turn the program selector knob to choose one of the 9 available programs:
- Cotton: For cotton items (available at 20°, 40°, 60°, 90°C).
- Delicates: For delicate fabrics (20°C).
- Mixed: For mixed fabric loads (40°, 60°C).
- Synthetics: For synthetic items (40°C).
- Quick 15 minutes: For small loads requiring a fast wash.
- Spin Only: For draining and spinning clothes without washing.
- Rinse + Spin: For an extra rinse and spin cycle.
4.4 Adjusting Options
After selecting a program, you can choose additional options using the buttons on the control panel:
- Spin Speed: Adjust the spin speed (0 / 400 / 800 / 1000 / 1200 rpm). Select '0' for no spin.
- Prewash: Adds a prewash cycle before the main wash.
- Rinse+: Adds an extra rinse cycle.
- Delayed Start: Set a delay for the program to start (3h, 6h, or 9h).
4.5 Starting the Cycle
Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the selected wash cycle.
4.6 Ending the Cycle
The machine will signal when the cycle is complete. Open the door and remove your laundry. Leave the door slightly ajar to allow the drum to air dry.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and performance of your washing machine.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
- Pull out the dispenser drawer completely.
- Rinse it under running water to remove any detergent residue.
- Clean the dispenser housing with a brush.
- Reinsert the drawer.
5.3 Cleaning the Drum
Periodically run a maintenance wash (e.g., a hot cycle with no laundry and a descaling agent) to clean the drum and remove any odors or residue.
5.4 Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter
The drain pump filter should be cleaned regularly to prevent blockages.
- Place a shallow container under the filter cover to catch any residual water.
- Open the access panel at the bottom front of the machine.
- Carefully unscrew the filter counter-clockwise and remove it.
- Clean the filter under running water, removing any lint or foreign objects.
- Screw the filter back in clockwise until it is tight. Close the access panel.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your washing machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions before contacting service.
