- Charge Microphones: Ensure both microphones are fully charged using the provided USB charging cable. The microphones have built-in batteries.
- Power On Microphones: Switch on the handheld microphones. The display will light up, showing the current channel (e.g., CH01, CH02). The corresponding indicator light on the receiver will turn green when the microphone is in operation.
- Connect to Audio System:
- For Karaoke/PA Systems (6.35mm Jack): Use the 6.35mm to 6.35mm cable to connect the MIC OUT port on the receiver to the microphone input of your karaoke speaker, PA system, or outdoor speaker.
- For Sound Bar/Home Theater (3.5mm Jack): Use the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect the R+L OUT port on the receiver to the audio input of your sound bar, bookshelf speaker, or home theater system.
Note: This system requires a speaker with a microphone input (1/4" or 1/8" jack). It cannot be used directly with Bluetooth speakers that lack a microphone jack.
- Bluetooth Connection (for Background Music):
- Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
- Search for "X168" in the list of available devices and connect. The Bluetooth range is approximately 32 feet.
- Adjust the MUSIC volume knob on the receiver to control the background music level.
