2. Safety Information

  • This product is recommended for users aged 14 years and up. Adult supervision is advised for younger users.
  • Operate the RC boat only in suitable bodies of water such as pools or lakes, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
  • Do not operate in saltwater.
  • Ensure the boat is fully charged and the remote control has fresh batteries before each use.

4. Product Overview

4.1. RC Boat (Crocodile Head)

The GoolRC Flytec V005 features a realistic crocodile head design. Key components include:

  • Simulation Appearance: Detailed crocodile head shell.
  • Balanced Double Propeller: Ensures smooth and stable movement.
  • Water Induction: The motor activates only when the boat is in water.
  • Waterproof Protection: Equipped with a waterproof rubber seal around the charging port and a fully enclosed, waterproof bottom.

4.2. Remote Control

The 2.4GHz remote control provides interference-free operation with a range of approximately 30 meters.

  • Antenna: For signal transmission.
  • Indicator Light: Shows power status.
  • Left Propeller Control: Controls the left propeller for forward/backward movement and turning.
  • Right Propeller Control: Controls the right propeller for forward/backward movement and turning.
  • Switch: Power on/off for the remote control.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Boat Battery

  1. Locate the USB charging cable.
  2. Connect the charging cable to the boat's battery port. Ensure the waterproof rubber seal is properly opened.
  3. Plug the USB end of the cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  4. The indicator light on the USB cable will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off for fully charged).
  5. Charging typically takes approximately 2-3 hours. Do not overcharge.

5.2. Installing the Boat Battery

  1. Carefully open the battery compartment on the boat.
  2. Connect the fully charged Lithium-Ion battery to the boat's power connector.
  3. Place the battery securely inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover firmly, ensuring a watertight seal.

5.3. Installing Remote Control Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On and Pairing

  1. Ensure the boat battery is installed and the compartment is sealed.
  2. Turn on the remote control using the switch. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Place the boat into the water. The boat's motor will activate only when it senses water (Water Induction feature).
  4. The remote control and boat should automatically pair. If not, turn both off and on again.

6.2. Basic Controls

Use the two joysticks on the remote control to maneuver the boat:

  • Forward: Push both joysticks forward.
  • Backward: Pull both joysticks backward.
  • Turn Left: Push the right joystick forward and/or pull the left joystick backward.
  • Turn Right: Push the left joystick forward and/or pull the right joystick backward.

6.3. Low Voltage Protection

When the boat's battery voltage becomes too low, the boat's speed will automatically decrease by approximately 40%. This serves as an indicator to retrieve the boat and recharge its battery.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, gently wipe down the boat with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure no water remains in the battery compartment or charging port.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the propellers for any debris (e.g., weeds, fishing line) that may hinder performance. Clean or replace if necessary.
  • Waterproof Seals: Periodically inspect the waterproof rubber seals around the charging port and battery compartment for wear or damage. Ensure they are clean and properly seated before each use to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: Store the boat and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from the remote control if storing for extended periods.
  • Battery Care: Do not leave the boat's battery fully discharged for long periods. Charge it periodically even if not in use.
