1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your JETS J1 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before using this appliance.
- This appliance is for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not allow children or pets to operate the robot. Supervise children and pets when the robot is operating.
- Use only the original charging base and power adapter provided by JETS.
- Do not handle the power plug or appliance with wet hands.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
- Do not pick up large objects, sharp objects, or liquids with the robot.
- Ensure the robot is turned off and unplugged before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
- Do not operate the robot in areas with open flames or explosive materials.
- Avoid operating the robot on high-pile carpets or very dark surfaces, which may interfere with sensors.

5. Setup Guide
5.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Check the package contents against the list in Section 3 to ensure all items are present and undamaged.
- Remove any protective films or stickers from the robot and charging base.
5.2 Charging Base Placement
- Place the charging base against a wall in an open, uncluttered area.
- Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space on both sides of the charging base and 2 meters (6 feet) in front of it.
- Plug the power adapter into the charging base and then into a wall outlet. Ensure the indicator light on the charging base illuminates.
5.3 Initial Charging
- Turn on the main power switch located on the side of the robot (refer to Figure 4.3).
- Manually place the robot onto the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts align.
- Allow the robot to charge completely before its first use. This may take several hours. The indicator light on the robot will change when fully charged.
5.4 Installing Side Brushes
- Flip the robot over.
- Align the side brushes with the corresponding posts (L and R) on the bottom of the robot and press them down until they click into place.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Starting a Cleaning Cycle
- Ensure the robot is fully charged and the main power switch is on.
- Press the "AUTO" button on the robot or the "Start/Pause" button on the remote control to begin cleaning in Automatic mode.
6.2 Using the Remote Control
The remote control allows you to select various cleaning modes and functions:
- Automatic Mode: The robot cleans systematically.
- Turbo Mode: Increases suction power for deeper cleaning.
- Concentrated Mode: The robot focuses cleaning on a specific area.
- Random Mode: The robot cleans randomly, suitable for smaller, less structured areas.
- Direction Control: Manually steer the robot using the directional buttons.
- Scheduling: Set a specific time for the robot to start cleaning daily. Refer to the remote control section in the full manual for detailed scheduling instructions.
- Return to Base: Press the home button to send the robot back to its charging base.
6.3 Using the Mop Function
- Remove the dustbin and fill the water tank with clean water. Do not use cleaning solutions that may clog the system.
- Attach the mop cloth securely to the water tank.
- Reinstall the water tank/mop assembly into the robot.
- Start a cleaning cycle. The robot will now vacuum and mop simultaneously.
- After mopping, remove and clean the mop cloth.
6.4 Using the Virtual Wall
- Place the virtual wall unit on the floor to create an invisible barrier.
- Ensure the virtual wall is powered on (check battery status).
- The robot will detect the barrier and avoid entering the restricted area.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your JETS J1.
7.1 Emptying the Dustbin
- Press the "PUSH" button on the top cover to open the dustbin compartment.
- Remove the dustbin and empty its contents into a trash bin.
- Clean the filter inside the dustbin regularly. Tap it gently to remove dust or rinse if washable (check specific filter type).
- Reinstall the clean dustbin and close the top cover.
7.2 Cleaning Brushes
- Main Brush (Rubber/Bristle): Flip the robot over. Remove the main brush cover and then the brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove hair and debris.
- Side Brushes: Gently pull the side brushes off their posts. Remove any tangled hair or debris. If damaged, replace with new ones.
- Reinstall all brushes securely.
7.3 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
- Wipe the cliff sensors (located on the bottom of the robot) and the charging contacts (on the robot and charging base) with a clean, dry cloth.
- Ensure these areas are free of dust and debris for proper operation.
7.4 Mop Cloth and Water Tank
- After each mopping session, remove the mop cloth and wash it thoroughly. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching.
- Empty any remaining water from the water tank and rinse it. Allow it to dry before storage.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your JETS J1, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
