1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The camcorder comes with two 1500mAh Lithium-Ion batteries. To install, open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the camcorder. Insert the battery according to the polarity indicators (+/-) and close the cover securely. For initial use, ensure the battery is fully charged.

To charge the battery, connect the camcorder to the power adapter using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off. The camcorder supports recording while charging.

2.2 SD Card Insertion

This camcorder requires an SD card (not included) for storing videos and photos. It supports SD cards up to 128GB. Locate the SD card slot, typically near the battery compartment. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is formatted before first use (refer to Operating section for formatting instructions).

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

To power on the camcorder, open the 3.0-inch IPS screen. The device will automatically power on. To power off, close the screen or long-press the 'POWER/LIGHT' button on the side panel.

3.2 Recording Videos and Taking Photos

The camcorder supports Full HD 1080p (30FPS) video recording and 24MP still image capture. To switch between video and photo modes, press the 'MODE' button. Press the 'REC/OK' button to start or stop video recording. In photo mode, press the 'REC/OK' button to take a picture.

3.3 IR Night Vision

For recording in low-light conditions or complete darkness, activate the IR Night Vision feature. Press the 'POWER/LIGHT' button briefly to toggle the IR light on/off. The camcorder will record in black and white when IR is active.

3.4 Zoom Function

Use the zoom rocker switch located on top of the camcorder to adjust the 16X digital zoom. Push forward to zoom in and backward to zoom out.

3.5 Pause Function and Remote Control

The camcorder features a pause function, allowing you to pause and resume recording within the same file. During recording, press the 'REC/OK' button to pause and press again to resume. The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance, including starting/stopping recording, taking photos, and controlling zoom.

3.6 Formatting SD Card

To format the SD card, navigate to the 'MENU' settings. Use the 'UP'/'DOWN' buttons to scroll through options until you find 'Format'. Select 'Format' and confirm your choice. This will erase all data on the SD card, so ensure you have backed up any important files before proceeding.

4. Connectivity

4.1 Webcam Function

The camcorder can be used as a webcam for video chatting or live streaming. Connect the camcorder to your PC using the USB cable. On the camcorder screen, select 'PC CAM' mode. Your computer should recognize the device as a webcam.

4.2 HDMI Output

To view your recorded videos and photos on a larger screen, connect the camcorder to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable (not included). Select the appropriate HDMI input on your display device. The camcorder's display will mirror on the connected screen.
