The LifeSmart Tower Heater is designed to provide supplemental warmth to indoor spaces. It features advanced infrared quartz heating technology, an energy-saving ECO mode, a programmable timer, and multiple safety features to ensure comfortable and secure operation.

Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater includes a tip-over safety switch and an overheat safety switch. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.
  • The exterior cabinet is designed to be cool-touch, reducing the risk of burns from accidental contact.

Setup and Assembly

Your LifeSmart Tower Heater requires minimal assembly. Please follow these steps:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Inspect for Damage: Check the heater for any signs of damage during shipping. If any damage is found, do not operate the heater and contact customer support.
  3. Base Assembly (if separate): If the base is not pre-attached, align the base with the bottom of the heater and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure it is stable.
  4. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the front, sides, and rear of the heater from any combustible materials. Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V, 15 Amp (or higher) grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors.
  6. Remote Control Batteries: Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote control, observing polarity (+/-).

The LifeSmart Tower Heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

  • Power (On/Off): Turns the heater on or off.
  • Temperature Up/Down: Adjusts the desired temperature setting (50°F - 90°F / 10°C - 32°C).
  • Mode (HI/LO/ECO): Cycles through High heat (1500W), Low heat (750W), and ECO mode.
  • Timer: Sets the programmable timer for automatic shut-off or turn-on (1-12 hours).
  • Oscillation (OSC): Activates or deactivates the oscillating louvers.

Basic Operation

  1. Turn On: Press the Power button. The heater will start in the last used mode or default to High heat.
  2. Set Temperature: Use the Temperature Up/Down buttons to set your desired room temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature.
  3. Select Heat Mode: Press the Mode button to switch between High (HI), Low (LO), and ECO modes.
    • HI: Full power (1500W) for rapid heating.
    • LO: Reduced power (750W) for sustained warmth.
    • ECO: Automatically adjusts wattage to maintain 68°F (20°C) efficiently.
  4. Activate Oscillation: Press the OSC button to enable the oscillating function, which helps distribute heat more widely. Press again to stop oscillation.
  5. Set Timer: Press the Timer button repeatedly to set the desired operating duration (1-12 hours). The heater will automatically turn off after the set time. To set a delayed turn-on, ensure the heater is off, then press the Timer button and set the desired delay.
  6. Turn Off: Press the Power button. The heater will enter a cool-down cycle for a few seconds before completely shutting off.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your LifeSmart Tower Heater.

  • Cleaning:
    • Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
    • Use a soft, damp cloth for spot cleaning the exterior cabinet. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or polishes.
    • Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
    • Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the air intake and exhaust grilles to remove dust and lint.
  • Storage:
    • Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use.
    • It is recommended to store the heater in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
  • Filter Cleaning: This model does not typically feature a user-serviceable air filter. Refer to the official user manual for specific filter maintenance if applicable.

Troubleshooting
