Setup

1. Charging the Speakers

Before first use, fully charge both Sound Stone 2 speakers. Connect the included USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to the USB power adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes several hours.

• Use only the provided USB cable and power adapter.
• Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed after charging to maintain water resistance.

2. Powering On/Off

To power on a speaker, press and hold the Power button located on the control panel until you hear an audible tone. To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.

3. Bluetooth Pairing (Primary Speaker)

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and no other Bluetooth devices are currently connected. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.
3. Select "Sound Stone 2" from the list of available devices.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will glow solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

Note: For optimal performance, ensure your Bluetooth device is within 30 feet (10 meters) of the primary speaker.

4. Stereo Linking (Connecting Two Speakers)

To achieve true stereo sound, you can wirelessly link two Sound Stone 2 speakers:

1. Power on both Sound Stone 2 speakers.
2. Ensure neither speaker is currently connected to a Bluetooth device. If a speaker is connected, disconnect it from your device's Bluetooth settings.
3. On one speaker (this will be your primary speaker), press and hold the Link button for approximately 3 seconds. The speaker will enter linking mode.
4. On the second speaker (this will be your secondary speaker), press and hold the Link button for approximately 3 seconds.
5. The speakers will automatically search for and link to each other. Once linked, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the Link indicator lights on both speakers will glow solid.
6. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in "3. Bluetooth Pairing (Primary Speaker)". Audio will play in stereo through both linked speakers.

Tip: If you experience difficulty linking, ensure both speakers are fully charged and within close proximity (within 30 feet). Disabling Bluetooth on your phone before linking the speakers can sometimes help establish the connection more smoothly.

5. Auxiliary Input

For devices without Bluetooth, you can use the 1/8-inch (3.5mm) auxiliary input. Connect one end of the included auxiliary cable to your audio device's headphone output and the other end to the AUX input port on the Sound Stone 2 speaker. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX input mode.

1. Speaker Placement

Place the Sound Stone 2 speakers in your desired outdoor location. Their realistic rock design allows them to blend discreetly into landscaping. For optimal stereo separation, position the two linked speakers at an appropriate distance from each other, typically within 30 feet (10 meters).

2. Volume Control

Adjust the playback volume directly from your connected Bluetooth device or the audio source connected via the auxiliary input.

3. Water Resistance

The Sound Stone 2 speakers feature an IPX4 water-resistant design, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for outdoor use and exposure to light rain. However, they are not designed to be submerged in water or exposed to pressurized water jets. Always ensure all port covers are securely closed to maintain water resistance.
