4. Installation

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully unpack the water heater and inspect it for any shipping damage. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present:

4.2 Location Requirements
- Mount the unit vertically on a solid wall surface.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 4 inches (10 cm) from the wall to the unit's side.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 4 inches (10 cm) from the ceiling to the top of the unit.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 8 inches (20 cm) from the floor to the bottom of the unit.
- Ensure the location allows for easy access for maintenance and service.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Startup
- After plumbing connections are complete and checked for leaks, open a hot water faucet in your home to allow water to flow through the unit for several minutes. This purges air from the system.
- Once water flows steadily from the faucet, close the faucet.
- Turn on the electrical power to the unit at the main breaker.
