Setup
1. Powering On
The Aerophone Mini can be powered by four AA batteries (not included) or via the included USB cable connected to a USB power adapter (not included) or computer.
- Insert four AA batteries into the battery compartment on the underside of the instrument, ensuring correct polarity.
- Alternatively, connect the USB cable to the instrument's USB port and a power source.
- Slide the power switch to the "ON" position.
2. Connecting to the Aerophone Mini Plus App
The Aerophone Mini Plus app (available for iOS and Android) significantly expands the instrument's capabilities, offering additional sounds, lessons, and practice tools. Bluetooth connectivity is used for this connection.
- Download and install the "Aerophone Mini Plus" app from your device's app store.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- On the Aerophone Mini, slide the Bluetooth switch to the "ON" position. The Bluetooth indicator light will blink.
- Open the Aerophone Mini Plus app. The app will automatically search for and connect to your instrument. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the instrument will glow solid.

The Aerophone Mini comes with six built-in sounds that can be accessed directly from the instrument without the app. These include various wind instrument tones.
To change the onboard sound, press the "TONE" button repeatedly to cycle through the available sounds.

- Tutorial Songs: Learn to play with 11 easy-to-follow tutorial songs. The app displays which keys to press as the song plays, and you can adjust the tempo for practice.
- Music Streaming: Stream songs from your mobile device's music library and play along. The app allows you to set rehearsal loops, change the tempo, and even transpose the key of the song to match your playing comfort. You can also lower the volume of the lead instrument or vocal in the streamed track.
- Customization: Personalize settings such as breath sensitivity and create custom fingering layouts.
