Setup

Powering the Fan

The CMCE001B fan offers two power options: a V20* battery or an AC power cord.

Using a V20* Battery (Sold Separately)

1. Ensure the fan is turned off (speed dial set to '0').
2. Align the V20* battery pack with the battery port on the fan base.
3. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
4. To remove the battery, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

Using AC Power

1. Ensure the fan is turned off (speed dial set to '0').
2. Locate the AC power input port on the back of the fan.
3. Insert a standard extension cord (not included) into the AC power input port.
4. Plug the other end of the extension cord into a suitable 120V AC outlet.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Airflow Speed

The fan features a rotary dial on the front for controlling the fan speed.

1. To turn the fan ON, rotate the dial clockwise from '0' to your desired speed setting (1, 2, or 3).
2. Setting '1' provides the lowest airflow, while '3' provides the maximum airflow.
3. To turn the fan OFF, rotate the dial counter-clockwise back to '0'.

Pivoting Head Adjustment

The fan head can be manually adjusted up to 240 degrees to direct airflow.

1. Grasp the fan head firmly on both sides.
2. Gently tilt the fan head to the desired angle. The fan head will hold its position once released.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power (remove battery or unplug AC cord) before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: Store the fan in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. If storing for extended periods, remove the battery pack.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the fan for any damage, loose parts, or frayed cords (if using AC). Do not operate if damaged.
