5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Semi-Automatic Filter Cleaning
The Bosch GAS 15 PS features a semi-automatic filter cleaning system. To activate, block the hose inlet with your hand and press the filter cleaning button (if available) or follow the specific instructions in the full manual for your model. This helps dislodge dust from the filter, maintaining suction power.
5.2 Emptying the Container / Replacing Dust Bag
- Dry Waste: Unclip the motor head, carefully remove the full dust bag, and dispose of it. Install a new dust bag.
- Liquid Waste: Unclip the motor head and carefully pour out the liquid waste into a suitable drain. Clean the container thoroughly.
5.3 General Cleaning and Care
- Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning agents.
- Inspect the hose, nozzles, and power cord regularly for any damage. Replace damaged parts immediately.
- Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
