Product Overview

The CACAZI doorbell system consists of two main components:

  • Transmitter (Push Button): This outdoor unit generates its own power when pressed, sending a wireless signal to the receiver. It is IP44 waterproof.
  • Receiver: This indoor unit plugs into a standard wall outlet and plays the selected melody when it receives a signal from the transmitter. It features adjustable volume and melody selection.

Setup and Installation

Step 1: Receiver Placement

Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your home. Ensure it is within the 500 ft wireless range of where you intend to place the transmitter. You can use multiple receivers throughout your home for better coverage.

Step 2: Transmitter Placement

Choose a flat, clean surface near your door for the transmitter. Ensure the surface is free of dust and moisture. You have two installation options:

  • Adhesive Pad Installation:
    1. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly.
    2. Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive pad and stick it firmly to the back of the transmitter.
    3. Peel off the other side of the adhesive pad and press the transmitter firmly onto the desired surface for at least 30 seconds.
  • Screw Installation: (Recommended for uneven surfaces or added security)
    1. Open the back cover of the transmitter.
    2. Mark the positions for drilling using the screw holes on the transmitter as a guide.
    3. Drill two holes at the marked positions. Insert wall anchors if installing into masonry or drywall.
    4. Secure the transmitter's back cover to the wall using the provided screws.
    5. Snap the front part of the transmitter onto the secured back cover.
