1. Microphone Patterns
The AKG Lyra features a four-capsule mic array with four user-friendly capture modes, selectable via the "Microphone Pattern" knob on the front of the device:
- Front: Ideal for a single speaker or instrument directly in front of the microphone.
- Front & Back: Suitable for interviews or conversations with participants facing each other, capturing audio from both sides.
- Tight Stereo: Captures a wider sound field in front of the microphone, useful for two speakers side-by-side or instruments.
- Wide Stereo: Provides an expansive stereo image, best for capturing ambient sounds or multiple instruments in a room.

2. Headphone Output and Mix Controls
