1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
  2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  4. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Discard heater or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

  9. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  10. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  11. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  12. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  13. This heater includes safety features such as tip-over protection and overheat protection. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.
  14. The metallic safety net is designed to prevent direct contact with the heating element, reducing the risk of injury or burns.

5. Setup

The RPH-260G heater offers versatile setup options: free-standing or wall-mounted.

5.1 Free-Standing Setup

  1. Carefully remove the heater and all components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the two provided feet to the bottom of the heater using the designated slots or screws (if applicable). Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Place the heater on a firm, level surface, ensuring it is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any combustible materials.

5.2 Wall-Mount Setup

  1. Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is clear of obstructions and at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from combustible materials.
  2. Using the provided wall mount hardware, securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall. Refer to the specific instructions included with the wall mount kit for detailed steps.
  3. Carefully hang the heater onto the mounted bracket, ensuring it is stable and locked into place.

5.3 Power Connection

Once the heater is positioned, plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is in good condition and not overloaded.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To turn the heater ON, press the Power button (Power button icon) once. The heater will typically default to a low heat setting or standby.
  • To turn the heater OFF, press the Power button again.

6.2 Adjusting Heat Settings

  • After powering on, press the Heat Setting button (often the same as the power button or a dedicated button next to 'High'/'Low' indicators) to cycle between heat levels.
  • The indicators (e.g., 'High' or 'Low' LEDs) will illuminate to show the selected heat setting: High (260 W) or Low (130 W).

6.3 Using the Timer Function

  • Press the Timer button (Timer button icon) to activate the timer function.
  • Each press will cycle through the available timer settings: 4 hours and 8 hours.
  • The corresponding LED indicator (e.g., '4h' or '8h') will light up to confirm the selected duration. The heater will automatically turn off after the set time expires.

6.4 Inverted Foot Warmer Use

The RPH-260G can also be used as an inverted foot warmer. Simply place the heater on the floor with the heating panel facing upwards. Ensure the unit is stable and on a flat surface. This method provides direct warmth to your feet and legs.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.

7.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  3. Ensure no water or liquid enters the interior of the heater.
  4. Periodically, gently vacuum any dust from the metallic safety net and air vents to maintain optimal airflow.

7.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

8. Troubleshooting
