Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the proper use and care of your Skagen Signatur Minimalist Stainless Steel Watch, model SKW6578. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your timepiece.
Setup
1. Setting the Time
- Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) outwards to the first position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch movement.
2. Adjusting the Leather Strap
The genuine leather strap features a single prong strap buckle closure that is self-adjustable for a customized fit. Locate the buckle and the series of holes on the strap. Insert the prong into the hole that provides a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist.
3. Changing the Watch Strap
The watch strap is designed for easy interchangeability. On the underside of the strap, near where it connects to the watch case, you will find a small lever or pin. Slide this lever inwards to release the spring bar, allowing you to detach the strap. To attach a new strap, align the spring bar with the lug holes on the watch case and slide the lever to secure it.

Operating Instructions
1. Timekeeping
Your Skagen Signatur watch is equipped with an accurate Quartz movement, providing precise timekeeping with a three-hand analog display (hour, minute, and second hands).
2. Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant up to 30 meters (100 feet), or 3 ATM. This means it is suitable for everyday use and will withstand splashes of water or brief immersion. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving.
Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a product-specific battery. If the watch stops running, the battery may need to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
2. Cleaning the Watch
To clean the watch case and crystal, use a soft, damp cloth. For the leather strap, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or the leather.
3. Strap Care
Leather straps can be affected by moisture, sweat, and direct sunlight. To prolong the life of your leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. If the strap becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Inaccurate time: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the time is consistently inaccurate, the movement may require servicing.
- Water damage: If the watch has been exposed to water beyond its rated resistance, or if condensation appears under the crystal, seek professional service immediately to prevent further damage.
