2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging. Remove any protective films or packing materials.
- Filter Installation:
- Turn the unit upside down.
- Twist the base cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the plastic packaging from the filter.
- Insert the filter into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Replace the base cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

- Placement: Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around all sides of the unit for optimal airflow. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
The Ufesa PF4500 features an intuitive touch control panel located on the top of the unit.

Control Panel Functions:
- Power Button (⏻): Touch to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Fan Speed Button (💨): Touch repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds: Low (L), Medium (M), High (H).
- Timer Button (⏱): Touch repeatedly to set the operating timer for 2, 4, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.
- Night Mode Button (🌙): Touch to activate Night Mode. The fan speed will reduce to the lowest setting, and all indicator lights will dim for quiet operation during sleep. Touch again to deactivate.
- Ionic Function Button (⚛): Touch to activate or deactivate the ionic function. This function helps to further purify the air by releasing negative ions.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air purifier.
Filter Replacement:
- The filter change indicator light will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter.
- To replace, unplug the unit and follow the filter installation steps in Section 4 in reverse order to remove the old filter.
- Install a new Ufesa PF4500 replacement filter (sold separately).
- After replacing the filter, plug in the unit and press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds to reset the filter indicator.
- Filter lifespan varies depending on air quality and usage, typically 6-8 months.
Cleaning the Unit:
- Always unplug the air purifier before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- The pre-filter layer of the 3-in-1 filter can be gently vacuumed to remove larger particles, but the HEPA and activated carbon layers are not washable and must be replaced.
