Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

The LUXPRO XP915 comes with two 18650 Lithium-Ion batteries pre-installed. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the flashlight.

  1. To charge, locate the micro-USB charging port on the flashlight body. This port is typically protected by a rotating collar or cover.
  2. Rotate the collar or open the cover to expose the micro-USB port.
  3. Insert the included micro-USB cable into the flashlight's port and connect the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
  4. An indicator light will typically show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the port cover to protect it from dust and moisture.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The XP915 flashlight features a single button for power control and mode cycling.

  1. Power On/Off: Press the power button located on the tail cap or side of the flashlight to turn it on. Press again to turn it off.
  2. Cycle Modes: With the flashlight on, lightly press the power button (without fully clicking) to cycle through the different lighting modes: High, Medium, Low, and Strobe.
  3. High Mode: Provides maximum brightness (1600 lumens) for extensive illumination.
  4. Medium Mode: Offers a balanced brightness for general tasks.
  5. Low Mode: Provides minimal brightness (120 lumens) for extended runtime or close-up work.
  6. Strobe Mode: A flashing light mode, often used for signaling or self-defense.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Storage

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
