Front Panel Controls:
- POWER Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
- FUNC (Function) Button: Switches between CD, FM, and AM modes.
- B-SKIP (Backward Skip) Button: Skips to the previous track on CD or tunes backward on radio.
- F-SKIP (Forward Skip) Button: Skips to the next track on CD or tunes forward on radio.

Setup
Powering the Boombox
The SBX030C offers two power options: AC power for indoor use and battery power for portability.
AC Power:
- Ensure the unit is turned OFF.
- Insert the included AC power cord into the AC socket located on the rear of the boombox.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V ~ 60Hz).

Battery Power:
- Ensure the unit is turned OFF and unplugged from AC power.
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 6 'C' size batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating the CD Player
The SBX030C features a top-loading CD player compatible with standard audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs.
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'CD' mode is selected on the LED display.
- Gently open the CD compartment door located on the top of the unit.
- Place an audio CD onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment door firmly. The CD player will begin reading the disc, and the total number of tracks will appear on the LED display.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. The current track number will be displayed.
- To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. Press it again to resume.
- To skip to the next track, press the F-SKIP button. To go back to the beginning of the current track or to the previous track, press the B-SKIP button.
- To stop playback, press the REP/RAND/PROG button until playback stops.
- Repeat Playback: During playback, press the REP/RAND/PROG button once to repeat the current track (REP 1). Press it again to repeat all tracks on the disc (REP ALL). Press a third time to cancel repeat mode.
- Program Playback: To program a sequence of tracks, stop CD playback. Press the REP/RAND/PROG button. The LED display will show 'PROG'. Use the F-SKIP or B-SKIP buttons to select your desired track, then press REP/RAND/PROG again to confirm. Repeat this process for up to 20 tracks. Press PLAY/PAUSE to start programmed playback.

Operating the AM/FM Radio
The boombox features an analog AM/FM stereo radio tuner.
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'FM' or 'AM' mode is selected on the LED display.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM reception, rotate the unit to find the best signal.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to scan for radio stations.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your desired listening level.
Using External Audio Sources
Auxiliary Line-in (AUX IN)
Connect your smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, or other audio devices to the boombox using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'AUX' mode is selected on the LED display.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN jack on the front of the boombox.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or line-out port of your external audio device.
- Start playback on your external device. The audio will be played through the boombox speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob on the boombox and/or the volume controls on your external device.

Headphone Jack
For private listening, you can connect headphones to the boombox.
- Connect a pair of headphones (not included) with a 3.5mm plug into the HEADPHONE JACK on the front of the boombox.
- Once headphones are connected, audio will automatically be routed through the headphones, muting the boombox speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob on the boombox.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as these may damage the finish.
- For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner.
Battery Care
- Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
CD Care
- Handle CDs by their edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface.
- Keep CDs in their cases when not in use to prevent scratches.
- Clean CDs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
