Setup
1. Installing the CO2 Cartridge
- Ensure the air pistol is unloaded and the safety is engaged.
- Locate the CO2 compartment at the base of the grip. This is typically accessed by pulling back the grip panel or opening a hinged door at the bottom.
- Insert a 12-gram CO2 cartridge into the compartment with the narrow neck facing upwards.
- Tighten the piercing screw or lever at the bottom of the grip until the CO2 cartridge is pierced and sealed. A small hiss may be heard as the cartridge is pierced; this is normal. Do not overtighten.
- Close the grip panel or hinged door securely.
2. Loading BBs into the Magazine
- Press the magazine release button, located near the trigger guard, to remove the magazine from the air pistol.
- Pull down the spring-loaded follower on the magazine until it locks into place at the bottom.
- Carefully insert up to 20 .177 caliber steel BBs into the loading port at the top of the magazine.
- Release the follower to secure the BBs in the magazine.
- Insert the loaded magazine back into the air pistol grip until it clicks securely into place.

Operating the Air Pistol
1. Engaging/Disengaging Safety
The HK45 Air Pistol features a manual safety lever. To engage the safety (SAFE), push the lever upwards. To disengage the safety (FIRE), push the lever downwards. Always ensure the safety is engaged until you are ready to fire.
2. Firing
- With the CO2 cartridge and BBs loaded, ensure the safety is disengaged (FIRE).
- Aim at a safe target with an appropriate backstop.
- Place your finger on the trigger and pull it smoothly to fire. The air pistol is designed for single-action firing.
- After firing, re-engage the safety if you are not immediately firing again.
3. Fixed Sights and Accessory Rail
The HK45 Air Pistol is equipped with fixed front and rear sights for aiming. For enhanced targeting, the integrated accessory rail located under the barrel allows for the attachment of compatible accessories such as lasers or lights (accessories sold separately).
