2. App Download and Connection
Download the "Inkbird Pro" app from your device's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store). Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to a 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi network. 3. Probe Connection

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the orange button on the front of the main unit to power it on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.
2. Placing Probes
Insert the metal tip of the temperature probes into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bones. For ambient temperature monitoring in a smoker or oven, use the included probe clips to attach a probe to the grill grate, ensuring it does not touch the cooking surface or food.
3. Monitoring Temperatures
Once the probes are inserted and the device is powered on, the current temperatures will be displayed on the unit's screen. For detailed monitoring, open the Inkbird Pro app on your smartphone. The app provides real-time temperature readings for all connected probes.
4. Setting Alarms and Timers
Within the Inkbird Pro app, you can set high and low temperature alarms for each probe. The device and your phone will trigger an alarm when the temperature reaches the set thresholds. The app also features a countdown timer, useful for tracking cooking duration or specific intervals.

Select the appropriate mode for your cooking needs, and the app will automatically suggest target temperatures. You can also customize temperatures and ranges.

- Storage: Store the thermometer and probes in a dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Inkbird IBBQ-4T, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Temperature Reading / Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure probes are fully inserted into the main unit's ports. A loose connection can prevent readings.
- Check if the probe tip is correctly inserted into the meat and not touching bone.
- Verify that the probes are not damaged. If a probe is faulty, it may need replacement.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues:
- Confirm your Wi-Fi router is broadcasting a 2.4GHZ signal. The IBBQ-4T does not support 5GHZ networks.
- Ensure the thermometer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Restart both your Wi-Fi router and the IBBQ-4T unit.
- If you have a dual-band router, temporarily disable the 5GHZ band during the initial pairing process to ensure the thermometer connects to 2.4GHZ.
- App Not Responding / Crashing:
- Close and reopen the Inkbird Pro app.
- Ensure your smartphone's operating system is up to date.
- Clear the app's cache or reinstall the app if issues persist.
- Battery Draining Quickly:
- Ensure the unit is fully charged before use.
- Minimize screen brightness if possible (though this model has a fixed display).
- Ensure the unit is powered off when not in use.
