2. Safety Information

Important Safeguards

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.

If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

4. Setup

Initial Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the transparent slushie container, inner canister, lid, and dispensing tap with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit should be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Assemble: Place the inner canister inside the transparent slushie container. Secure the lid firmly on top of the container, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned.
  4. Position: Place the assembled unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the drip tray is in place under the dispensing tap.

5. Operating Instructions

Making Your ICEE Slushie

For best results, ensure the inner canister is pre-chilled in the freezer for at least 1 hour before use. Also, pre-chill your ICEE syrup and water mixture.

  1. Prepare Syrup Mixture: Mix your desired ICEE syrup with water according to the syrup's instructions. A typical ratio is 1 part syrup to 5 parts water. Ensure the mixture is well-chilled.
  2. Add Salt to Ice Canister: Remove the small inlet cap on the lid. Pour two caps of salt (table salt recommended, avoid ice cream salt) into the ice/salt inlet.
  3. Add Water to Ice Canister: Add 40ml of water into the ice/salt inlet.
  4. Add Ice to Ice Canister: Fill the ice canister with ice cubes through the ice/salt inlet. The ice level should be at least 3cm below the rim of the ice canister.
  5. Pour Syrup Mixture: Slowly pour your pre-chilled syrup mixture into the syrup inlet until it reaches the "Max Fill" line on the transparent container.
  6. Turn On: Plug in the machine and turn the switch to the "Mix" position.
  7. Mix: Allow the machine to run for 15-25 minutes. The mixture will begin to thicken and form a slushie consistency.
  8. Add More Ice (if needed): If the mixture level drops significantly during mixing, add more ice cubes to the ice canister, ensuring the level remains no higher than 3cm below the rim.
  9. Dispense: Once the desired slushie consistency is achieved, turn the switch to the "Dispense" position. Place a cup onto the drinks tray and turn the tap clockwise to pour your slushie.
  10. Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade ICEE slushie!

6. Maintenance

Cleaning and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ICEE Slushie Maker.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the machine from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Carefully disassemble the transparent slushie container, inner canister, lid, and dispensing tap.
  3. Hand Wash: Wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Use a soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratching.
  4. Rinse & Dry: Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water and dry them completely before reassembling or storing.
  5. Wipe Base: Wipe the main unit (base) with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
  6. Storage: Store the machine in a clean, dry place when not in use.

Note:

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surfaces.
  • Do not place any parts in a dishwasher. Hand washing is recommended.
  • Ensure the inner canister is completely dry before placing it back in the freezer to prevent ice buildup.
